Dr Sushanta Kumar Roy - MD ( Radiodiagnosis)
Born in a small town in Bangladesh, Dr. Sushanta Kumar Roy, a renowned radiologist, embarked on his journey in medicine with a Bachelor’s Degree from Dhaka Medical College, followed by DTCT from Kolkata Medical College, and ultimately his Master’s Degree from Kasturba Medical College.
His career commenced in 1993 as a Consultant Radiologist at a local nursing home in Siliguri. Fueled by his passion and dedication, he soon established his own ultrasonography (USG) clinic. Within three years, this clinic blossomed into a full-fledged diagnostic center with laboratory and radiological facilities, as well as endoscopy services.
Today, this establishment stands as the esteemed Anandaloke Sonoscan Centre. Equipped with cutting-edge technology including a PETCT, Gama Camera, 3 Tesla MRI, Next Generation Dual Energy Cardiac CT (equivalent to 500 Slices), NABL Accredited Lab, Urodynamic System, and other advanced equipment, it is hailed as the pinnacle of diagnostic excellence in the North Bengal region.
In 2003, Dr. Roy undertook a transformative endeavor, founding the Anandaloke Hospital & Neurosciences Centre with 25 beds. Over the years, this center has flourished into a 100-bed multispecialty hospital, boasting a team of 500 dedicated employees and achieving an impressive occupancy rate of 95 percent.

As the founder of Anandaloke Eye Care Centre, the Ophthalmology Department under the umbrella of Anandaloke Sonoscan Centre, she serves as a Senior Consultant Ophthalmologist. With over three decades of experience, she is an alumnus of NRS Medical College, Kolkata.
Dr. Arindam Pramanik
MD ( Radiodiagnosis )
A brilliant student from South Kolkata, Dr. Arindam Pramanik’s journey began at Aryya Vidyamandir in Behala for his secondary education. He then pursued his passion for science at Vivekananda College, Thakurpukur, where he excelled, ranking 145th in the WBJEE in Medical. Despite securing a ranking in WBJEE Engineering, Dr. Pramanik chose the path of “Medical” to dedicate himself to serving mankind. He joined the prestigious Nil Ratan Sircar Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata, in 1995, after completing his MBBS.
During his tenure as a House Staff in the Medicine & Chest Medicine Department of NRS Medical College, Dr. Pramanik continued to shine, ranking 150th in the All India Post Graduate Entrance Exam (AIPGEE).
In 2005, he embarked on his post-graduation journey in Radiodiagnosis at NHL Medical College, Ahmadabad, under Gujarat University. Here, he acquired comprehensive knowledge of diagnostic radiology, encompassing X-ray, USG, CT, MRI, and Non-Vascular Interventions.
After completing his MD in Radiodiagnosis, He honed his skills further during his tenure at Lokmanya Hospital and Sancheti Hospital in Pune for three years. He then returned to Siliguri and assumed the role of Chief Consultant – Radiodiagnosis at Anandaloke Sonoscan Center.
Driven by a vision to elevate Anandaloke Sonoscan Centre to a Referral Centre, He spearheaded the establishment of a CT & MRI Department, ushering in a new era with the installation of a 1.5 Tesla MRI & 16 Slice CT scan machine. Over the past decade, he has overseen nearly 60,000 MRI and 65,000 CT scan imaging procedures.
Recognizing the need for advancement in Special Investigations in Radiodiagnosis, particularly in Neuro-Radiology and Musculoskeletal Imaging, He introduced advanced protocols with the installation of a 3 Tesla MRI in 2020, a first in the North Bengal Region.
In 2021, 128 Slice MDCT was installed and in 2023 PET CT Scan & Gama Camera machine was installed for Oncology.
Dr. Pramanik has pioneered several specialized investigations, including Multi-Parametric Prostate, 3D-Neurography of Brachial Plexus, and MRI Breast Imaging.
Under his leadership as the Director of Anandaloke Group of Companies, Anandaloke Sonoscan Centre has achieved remarkable growth, emerging as the biggest and most advanced healthcare facility in the North Bengal Region.
